Big Voice Pictures knows the power of films to raise awareness, create dialogue, and engage audiences on topics of importance in our communities and world. We create and implement strategic impact and audience engagement campaigns, forging collaborative partnerships with organizations, church and related networks, and individuals who join us in taking action to help further our impact goals.

  2.  What are some examples of TAKE ACTION goals?

Educate:

  1. Zero tolerance for misogyny, sexism, and abuse and subjugation of women and girls in the church. Join our mission to challenge this.
  2. Challenge the notion that patriarchal interpretations and translations of Bible scriptures are the “right” views ; normalize the fact that millions of Christians, leading scholars, pastors, preachers, authors, historians and theologians and Bible translators hold egalitarian biblical views.
  3. Challenge the silencing and erasure of women in the Bible by educating about the leadership of powerful women in the Bible and throughout Christian history.
  4. Dispel myths and educate about the history of Christian feminism and Christian feminism today.
  5. Challenge biblical patriarchy movements rising in America, and within Christian nationalist movements.

Host a Screening!

Community, university, church and screenings in collaboration with organizations are powerful tools for raising awareness and creating dialog. Once the final editing of the film is complete, we will launch a national screening tour (some with panel discussions). Partner with us by hosting a screening is a wonderful way to raise awareness in your community. Please email us if you would like to be added to our Host a Screening list once the film is completed.
